1. Information We Collect
To provide our peer-to-peer ridesharing services, we collect:
Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and profile picture.
Driver Verification Data: Driver's license details, vehicle registration, and insurance information.
Payment Data: Financial information, BSB, and bank account details. Note: All payment processing is securely handled by Stripe. DinkiRide does not directly store credit card numbers on our servers.
Location Data: Pickup and drop-off locations, and trip routing information necessary to match Drivers and Passengers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data to:
- Verify user identities and maintain a safe platform environment.
- Facilitate ride matchmaking, communication between users, and trip processing.
- Process secure financial transactions, platform commissions, and automated payouts via Stripe Connect.
- Manage customer support issues, including processing refunds and addressing user disputes.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We only share information necessary to run our service:
Between Users: We share minimal details (first name, profile picture, vehicle model, and pickup location) between matched Passengers and Drivers to facilitate the ride.
With Third Parties: We share data with Stripe to create user onboarding profiles (Stripe Express Dashboard), verify identities (KYC), and handle financial flows.
4. Data Security and Access
We implement robust technical measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. You have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us through your account settings.
